There is the FAS route which I will touch on later, but there are also alternative routes to test the market and your own suitability. Short two week courses, that are not quite boiler repair, but a close variation of a boiler repair<\/em> course.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take this short two week course in LetterKenny, Gas Installer Domestic (G.I.D.)<\/a>, FETAC accredited and only two weeks in duration. This course will certainly give you an edge in the market place.
\nEven taking a look at the Solas website and searching keyword \u2018Gas\u2019, three paid jobs are displayed:<\/p>\n

The point is, you need to be certified, try a few short courses and they should give you a great platform to self reflect and decide whether a career in Gas and Oil Boiler Repair<\/em>, Servicing or Replacement is for you.<\/p>\n
